Joel Bennetts
has been taking photos of everything he loves since his mother passed away 6 years ago. he came across a box of disposable photos that she had developed in the late 90's, which inspired him mostly. Growing up by the vast coastline of Sydney he was constantly confronted with beauty. You may notice something similar throughout his works, emotional dark scenes, gloomy winter afternoons & water drops in a summer thunderstorm. His goal to work towards capturing that perfect moody moment. The mood is where it's at. This is something he has become quite fond of whilst learning the skill of photography. Constantly developing the craft, his style may change but keeping his one mark on each piece, giving people the opportunity to feel something near or foreign when viewing the work. Music is also a huge part of Joel's life, more often then not when shooting will be listening to his favourite tunes that help him portray a certain emotion or feeling.
